One Harbor Point

Graves + Associates provided master planning and community outreach services for the Cheney Foundation for this multi-family project.  The 3 acre site at the southern terminus of downtown Gig Harbor offers the opportunity to integrate walkable urban living as a part of the downtown village campus. The 35 unit project was designed to support 55 and older residents in a high end configuration with walkable access to local shopping and eateries. The development design intended to make a sensitive transition from the historic downtown and the surrounding suburban single family residential context.  Maintaining building character continuity with a slightly higher density than the upland surrounding single family residential intended to offer downtown living that  complimented the main street character.  Entitlements were taken through City Council approval to support Development Agreement negotiations.
